John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band

Formed in 1972 in Rhode Island, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band peaked with 1984's "On The Dark Side" from Eddie and the Cruisers. Known for a rock style, they gained a college fan base performing along the East Coast. Their soundtrack for Eddie and the Cruisers was a hit despite the film's failure, leading to a contract with Scotti Brothers Records. "Tough All Over" hit US number 40. Songs also featured in Rocky IV and Cobra.
