About 38 Special

Formed in Jacksonville in 1974, .38 Special, led by Donnie Van Zant, is known for blending Southern rock with arena-ready hard rock. Known for hits like "Caught Up in You" and "Hold On Loosely," they achieved major success in the 1980s, with several platinum albums.
