Known for a rock style, they gained a college fan base performing along the East Coast. Their soundtrack for Eddie and the Cruisers was a hit despite the film's failure, leading to a contract with Scotti Brothers Records. "Tough All Over" hit US number 40. Songs also featured in Rocky IV and Cobra.
