Great venue, easy to get to in the centre of the city. Helpful staff, and as a bonus reasonably priced ale. Just be aware which seats you book as the view from the wings of the upper level can be quite restricted.

Lovely place to listen to a classical concert. I went here with a close friend to watch the 2024 new year orchestra. Clear sound with a nice view, especially from the seat in the grand circle area.

Fabulous old building with beautiful ceiling. Upper circle not suited for anyone over 5'10" as seats are very tightly. Seats are narrow and at 6'1" I sat on the isle steps. Acoustics were great. If there was ever a fire, the upper circle would be in trouble to get everyone out with one exit.

A fantastic performance by the Scottish chamber orchestra and a mezzo soprano in the first half then a full chorus and symphony orchestra with an original score from a Scottish composer culminating with the last few bars of the piece being played by a piper! An exquisite evening.
