KKL Luzern Concerts 2026-2027

It is supposed to be one of the best concert halls in the world and have the best acoustic. For once, it is giant. Yes, you can hear well even if you're hanging off the light fixture on the last floor. However, my experience was not good. I'm not sure it's good idea trying to make halls bigger and bigger. Sitting on the level 4 gives you the experience of a bird trying to see a concert from the top of the 7-story building, but without due protection. Many people suffer from vertigo, as I am, and that was very upsetting and not pleasant. Acousticwise I wasn't happy either: the resulting sound seemed to be "packaged" in a way, didn't sound real, like it was doctored in some way. The attack of the sound was completely missing (It was a Symphony). The materials inside the hall itself are cold and industrial... May be we should go back to the good old smaller concert halls and wood paneling? Just saying....

Amazing place! Beautifully built, and the sound of the concert is just amazing! The service team is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful concert hall with great accoustic. Great roof top terrace with fantastic view over the lake.

Fantastic concert, part of the Luzern Festival, in the KKL of Luzern, conducted by Andres Orozco-Estrada. Schuman and Mendelssohn. It was amazing. It would be great if the KKL organisation can speed up the service at the bar because it takes quite a lot of time to get something to drink IMO.
