Great sound and good view of the show. I really enjoyed my visit. The only downside: The seats are really tight together which is uncomfortable.

Very cool. Too bad the only way to get around is by either end. Everyone has to get up to let people get to their middle seats.

Montreal Jazz Festival is always awesome. Location is great. Well organized. Bathrooms get crowded so plan accordingly. Gentle, easy going crowd. Nice way to spend a summer evening. Buy your tickets directly at Place des Arts. Resellers can disappoint you at the last minute. Double check your ticket if you purchase from a reseller and make sure it has your name on it. Stubhub pulled me a fast one by reselling me a ticket that did not have my name on it. Staff was courteous and sorted it out. I would have never had another chance to see Buddy Holly perform today. George Benson day before was awesome yesterday.

Very nice theater hall, has two main levels and multiple private balconies. In my opinion you see better off the balconies as there is a better incline of seats

Nice architecture and design. Not obvious how to actually get into the building. Unusual seat numbering with odds on the left and evens on the right. It might have been me, but I found that the sound system was lacking clarity.
