YeoMen

The Yeomen were a New Zealand folk music group formed in 1961, consisting of Brian Borland, Gordon Hubbard, and Peter Carter. Active during the 1960s folk revival, they became one of the country's most prominent folk acts, known for their hit single "Downtown Bus," which reached number 1 on the New Zealand Hit Parade, and their iconic jingle for Chesdale Cheese. Before disbanding in 1968, the trio toured extensively, made frequent television appearances, and released several singles, EPs, and the 1964 album Hootin' It Up.
