Vir Das, born in Dehradun, India, is a celebrated comedian, actor, and musician. He gained global recognition for his insightful stand-up, becoming the first Indian comedian with a Netflix special, "Abroad Understanding". He won an International Emmy for "Vir Das: Landing" and appeared in films like "Delhi Belly" and "Go Goa Gone". Das also acts in American TV ("Whiskey Cavalier") and fronts the comedy-rock band Alien Chutney.
