Veronica Swift, born in Charlottesville, VA, is a sophisticated jazz vocalist known for her swinging style. She gained fame after placing second in the 2015 Thelonious Monk Jazz Competition and released "Lonely Woman." Her 2019 album "Confessions" hit No. 5 on Billboard's Jazz Albums chart. Swift grew up in a musical family, performing with them from a young age. She collaborated with Emmet Cohen, Benny Green, and Jeff Rupert and has toured with Wynton Marsalis. Her 2021 album "This Bitter Earth" showcased a genre-bending approach.
