Leæther Strip is the solo project of Danish electronic artist Claus Larsen, known for pioneering aggressive EBM and electro-industrial sounds. Born in Aalborg, Denmark, Larsen drew inspiration from Depeche Mode and Soft Cell. Leæther Strip debuted in 1989 with "Japanese Bodies" under the Zoth Ommog label. Notable albums include "Pleasure of Penetration" and "Science for the Satanic Citizen." He also created the industrial metal project Klutæ. Despite a brief hiatus, Larsen has continued producing socially charged music and touring globally, releasing works like "Æscapism," exemplifying his enduring influence.
