Joe Pug, a Chicago-based singer-songwriter known for his lyrical acumen and plaintive harmonica style, has toured with Steve Earle, The Killers, and more. His music has wowed critics and albums have achieved success since 2008. He's graced stages like Lollapalooza and Newport Folk Festival, with features on NPR shows. He also hosts the podcast "The Working Songwriter."
The Empty Pockets, a Chicago-born quartet, blends blues and rock, influenced by the British Invasion. Known for organic recordings and tireless touring, they pay tribute to mentor Al Stewart with "In Brooklyn," featuring Peter White. They have shared stages with Tedeschi Trucks Band and others. Members are Josh Solomon, Erika Brett, Nate Bellon, and Adam Balasco.
Chicago-born Nicholas Tremulis blends rock, R&B, and pop. Known for energetic shows and albums like "In Search of Woodfoot." Collaborated with Billy Corgan and producer Rob Fraboni.
Corky Siegel, Chicago blues icon and pioneer of blues/classical fusion, co-founded Siegel-Schwall Band. Harmonica virtuoso, Blues Hall of Famer, known for million-selling records and celebrated collaborations.
Born in Chicago, Mud Morganfield, son of Muddy Waters, began his blues career post-30. Known for his deep baritone and blues phrasing, his album "Son of a Seventh Son" garnered global attention. He won a Blues Music Award for "For Pops," collaborated with Kim Wilson, and achieved a crossover hit with "Praise Him." A skilled bassist, Morganfield's music blends original tunes, his father's classics, and blues standards.
