LineUp

Martha Davis, from Berkeley, joined The Motels, hitting it big with hits like "Only the Lonely" and "Suddenly Last Summer." The band achieved gold record status with their unique sound. After brief breakup, Davis went solo and later reformed The Motels.
Animotion, known for '80s synth pop hits like "Obsession" and "Room to Move," achieved early success but faced lineup changes, briefly shining before disbanding. Reunited later, focusing on nostalgic appeal.
Men Without Hats, new wave pioneers, led by the Doroschuks & joined by Sho Murray & Sahara Sloan, continue their synth-pop legacy. Known for "The Safety Dance" & global tours, they've recently had hits inducted into the Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame.
Born in the 1980s, Haircut One Hundred blended sophisticated pop and new wave, famous for "Love Plus One" and album "Pelican West." Celebrated for their catchy sax solos and sunny vocals, despite a brief career, they left a lasting impact and earned platinum status.
