On "ANIMALS," his innovative style shines with collaborators like Danny Brown and Nick Hakim, merging jazz and rap with orchestral strings. He's studied with icons like Billy Hart, and his music explores deep themes of identity and freedom.
Ben Lee, an Australian singer/songwriter, began his career at 14. Known for his indie-pop style, he has collaborated with Ben Folds, Ben Kweller, and Tom Robbins. His music features in films, TV, and ads, earning ARIA awards and a Cannes Gold Lion. He co-runs WEIRDER TOGETHER with his wife, Ione Skye, creating music and podcasts.
Born in Asheville, NC, Jake Lenderman, aka MJ Lenderman, is known for his album "Boat Songs," featuring sports references and ragged guitar solos. He gained attention with hits like "Ghost of Your Guitar Solo." A member of the band Wednesday, he recorded at Asheville’s Drop of Sun, making waves with barbed humor and raw style.
