The Warehouse Project, commonly known as WHP, is a renowned series of seasonal dance music club nights held annually in Manchester, England. Launched in 2006 by Sacha Lord and Sam Kandel at the disused Boddingtons Brewery, the project operates on a limited seasonal format, typically running from September through to New Year's Day. After evolving across various venues including the iconic Store Street air raid shelter beneath Piccadilly station, the series established its main home at Depot Mayfield, a massive 10,000-capacity former railway depot. Celebrated for its industrial atmosphere and eclectic curation, it hosts a diverse roster of global electronic music headliners, underground pioneers, and DJs spanning genres like house, techno, grime, and hip-hop.
Peter O'Grady, known as Joy Orbison, is an English electronic musician from Croydon. He masterfully blends house, dubstep, UK garage, and jungle, crafting influential and forward-thinking club music. His acclaimed debut single "Hyph Mngo" garnered widespread recognition. He is known for tracks like "flight fm" and "flex fm", and collaborations with Boddika and Overmono. He received DJ Mag's Best DJ and Best Track awards for "flight fm".
Scottish Highlands-born, Glasgow-based KAVARI makes industrial, cathartic experimental electronica (club/ambient/harsh noise); praised by Aphex Twin as brilliant.
