Todd Terry, born in Brooklyn, defined 1980s New York house music by blending disco, Chicago house, and hip-hop. Known for hits "Missing" remix, "Keep on Jumpin'," and "Something Goin' On," he collaborated with the Jungle Brothers and remixed artists like Björk and Janet Jackson. Terry founded Freeze Records and influenced U.K. rave. His collaborations span Kevin Saunderson to House Gospel Choir.
Born in New York to Dominican parents, Roger Sanchez became a leading house DJ and remixer. Known for hits like "Luv Dancin," he worked with stars like Michael Jackson and Diana Ross. A key figure in Strictly Rhythm, Sanchez won a Grammy for No Doubt's "Hella Good" remix. His radio show, Release Yourself, won an International Dance Music Award for Best Podcast. Sanchez's labels include Narcotic and Stealth, showcasing his prolific mix and production talent.
Kevin Saunderson, born in Detroit, revolutionized electronic music as part of the Belleville Three. With Inner City, he produced hits like "Big Fun" & "Good Life", achieving 12 UK top 40s and selling over 6 million records. Known for dynamic DJ sets and extensive global tours.
K-Klass, born out of the Hacienda's "Nude" nights in 1988, are iconic house DJs and producers. Known for "Rhythm is a Mystery" and "Let Me Show You," they've remixed for stars, curated CREAM events, and played globally for top dance brands.
DJ Graeme Park, UK-born, pioneered the acid house scene in Nottingham, famed for his innovative style & remixes. Regular at Hacienda, won DMC DJ Award ('89-'92).
808 State, formed in Manchester, are pioneers of electronic music known for a futuristic style. Their seventh album, "Transmission Suite," blends past and present sounds.
Formed in 1988, Leftfield, originally Neil Barnes and Paul Daley, revolutionized dance music with their pioneering albums Leftism and Rhythm & Stealth. After a hiatus, Barnes returned with acclaimed albums Alternative Light Source and This Is What We Do, collaborating with artists like Jason Williamson and Tunde Adebimpe.
