The Scene is a Dutch rock band from Amsterdam, formed in 1979. Known for poetic lyrics and the raw, hoarse voice of frontman Thé Lau, they achieved acclaim with hits like "Blauw" and "Iedereen is van de wereld". The band received the Popprijs in 1992. After a hiatus, the group continues its legacy with new vocalist Syb van der Ploeg, delivering their classic Dutch rock sound.
