Jerry Harrison, born in Milwaukee, first gained fame with Jonathan Richman's Modern Lovers in the '70s, before becoming a key member of Talking Heads. Celebrated for blending punk with varied styles, he later emerged as a respected producer for acts like No Doubt and Live, and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Talking Heads in 2002.
