Splintered Sunlight, formed in Philadelphia in 1992, is a revered Grateful Dead tribute band. They are celebrated for their authentic sound, improvisational style, and double-drum kit lineup, captivating audiences throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Their music blends rock, folk, blues, jazz, bluegrass, country, reggae, and psychedelia. Lead guitarist Butchy Sochorow is noted for his Jerry Garcia-like vocals.
