Dazy is the solo noise pop and alternative rock project of Richmond, Virginia-based musician and multi-instrumentalist James Goodson. Formed in 2020 as a home-recording bedroom project during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dazy is known for a signature sound that blends big pop hooks and catchy melodies with thick, fuzzed-out guitar distortion and thumping drum machines. After releasing a prolific string of independent singles and EPs compiled on the 2021 anthology MAXIMUMBLASTSUPERLOUD: The First 24 Songs, Goodson signed to Lame-O Records and released his critically acclaimed debut full-length album, OUTOFBODY, in late 2022.
