Handsome Dick Manitoba, born Richard Blum in the Bronx, became the charismatic frontman for the Dictators. Known for antics and a unique style blending punk and rock, the band debuted with "The Dictators Go Girl Crazy" in 1975. Manitoba also formed Manitoba's Wild Kingdom and owned a popular N.Y.C. bar.
