Ryudo Uzaki, born in Kyoto, Japan, is a celebrated Japanese musician, composer, and actor. He gained fame with his rock band, the Down Town Boogie-Woogie Band, prominent in 1970s Japanese rock. Uzaki's Kayōkyoku and pop compositions include hits like "Minato No Yoko, Yokohama, Yokosuka" for Momoe Yamaguchi, often with his wife, lyricist Yoko Aki. He also has a solo career, film scores, and acting credits, earning a Best Actor award.
