Formed in 1978 Birmingham, UK, G.B.H. (Charged G.B.H.) revitalized punk with heavy metal influences. Known for tracks like "City Baby Attacked by Rats," they inspired bands such as Metallica. Their street punk style won fans worldwide, boasting robust touring and steady releases.
Formed in Turnbridge Wells, England, 1980, the Anti-Nowhere League shocked punk rock with offensive lyrics & scandals. Known for "So What," they influenced many, including Metallica, and consistently toured, evolving their music across decades.
Bar Stool Preachers, formed with their debut "Blatant Propaganda" in 2016, are known for energetic shows and a bold message. They've shared stages with The Slackers, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and more.
The U.K. Subs, founded by Charlie Harper in 1976, are pivotal to the second wave of British punk, known for their aggressive, anthemic sound. Their debut, "Another Kind of Blues" (1979), and subsequent albums like "Brand New Age" established their commercial success. Despite frequent lineup changes, Harper maintained their energy. Influenced by early Clash, their style later embraced heavy metal. The band earned acclaim for live performances and notable works like "Crash Course." Their legacy spans over four decades, continuously resonating with punk fans across the globe.
Born in London's East End, Cockney Rejects pioneered Oi! punk with hits like "Oi! Oi! Oi!". Discovered by Jimmy Pursey, they were known for loud, brash music and had a controversial link to the skinhead movement. Albums include "Greatest Hits" series and "The Power and the Glory". Reunited in 1990.
Formed in Derry in 1976, The Undertones, known for hits like 'Teenage Kicks', toured with The Clash, released acclaimed LPs, and reconvened with Paul McLoone in 1999.
Riskee & The Ridicule, a Kent-based Grime Punk group, gained acclaim with their 2019 album "Body Bag Your Scene," noted for its intense themes and unique style.
