Born in Tokyo, Ryoko Moriyama is an acclaimed Japanese folk and pop singer, daughter of a jazz pioneer. Known for her clear voice, she debuted in 1967 with "Kono Hiroi Nohara Ippai". Her popular songs include "Kinjirareta Koi," "Nada Sousou," and "Satoukibibatake." She performed at the 1998 Nagano Olympics and earned multiple Japan Record Awards, including the Best Singing Award, and the Medal with Purple Ribbon, showcasing a versatile career.
