Rising Appalachia and Meschiya Lake

Sisters Leah and Chloe Smith formed Rising Appalachia in Georgia, blending Southern-rooted Americana and world folk music. Known for captivating performances at NPR Tiny Desk and Preservation Jazz Hall, they've toured globally, transforming simple Appalachian and Irish melodies with bandmates David Brown, Duncan Wickel, and Biko Casini. They stand out with reinterpretations of artists like Bob Dylan and Beyoncé, performing at renowned festivals like Telluride and Red Rocks.
