Radney Foster, born in Del Rio, Texas, rose to fame in the country duo Foster & Lloyd before launching a successful solo career in 1991. Known for his literate country songwriting, his debut album "Del Rio, Texas, 1959" featured hits like "Just Call Me Lonesome." Foster explored pop, rock, and classic R&B in later works. He collaborated with Bill Lloyd and performed in Kristian Bush's musical "Troubadour."
