R.O. Shapiro, from Long Island, is a heartfelt Americana artist compared to Josh Ritter. After Odell Fox, he electrified his sound in Austin. Winner of the 2022 Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk contest, he’s toured with May Erlewine and collaborated with Phil Cook. Now based in Northern California, he tours the US and Canada.
