Punkt with Nils Petter Molvær and Daniel Herskedal

Born on Sula Island, Nils Petter Molvær, avant-garde jazz trumpeter, rose to fame with the nu jazz group Masqualero and later found critical acclaim with solo works like 'Khmer' and 'Solid Ether'. Known for blending jazz with electronic, ambient, and house music, he's released albums under ECM, Thirsty Ear, and OKeh labels.

Norwegian composer and brass player Daniel Herskedal fuses jazz and classical music, known for his emotive and cinematic compositions. Albums on Edition Records like "Slow Eastbound Train" and "The Roc" showcase his virtuosity. He worked on the soundtrack for "The Last Black Man in San Francisco" and has been commissioned by BBC Concert Orchestra. Daniel won a Norwegian Grammy with Marja Mortensson in 2019.
