Poison the Well, from southern Florida, gained fame in the hardcore punk scene with their metalcore style, blending Slayer's guitar with Hatebreed's stomp. Their debut album was a hit, leading to a stint with Atlantic Records, though they later returned to indie labels. Known for albums like "The Opposite of December," they pushed boundaries with "Versions," featuring diverse instruments. They toured with Cryptopsy and Every Time I Die. Notable members included Ryan Primack and Jeff Moreira.
