Peat and Diesel and RuMac

Stornoway folk-punk/rock trio Peat & Diesel blend accordion-driven tunes and tongue-in-cheek island-life lyrics; “Western Isles” went viral; won Scots Trad Live Act of Year.

RuMac (Ruairidh Maclean) is a Scottish accordion player from Ullapool. He blends traditional Scottish music with folk-punk and heavy metal, known for anarchic, energetic performances. His debut album, "The Bloody Box," features twisted covers like AC/DC's "Thunderstruck." RuMac gained recognition from Britain's Got Talent and has opened for Peat and Diesel, also earning a Scots Trad Music Awards nomination.
