A classically trained multi-instrumentalist, he is celebrated for his genre-blending sound of soul, jazz, funk, and Caribbean influences. His hit "There's Nothing Like This" launched his career. He has collaborated with legends like Stevie Wonder and Erykah Badu. An MBE recipient for services to music, his album "Brighter The Days" was released in 2025. He is also an actor.
