Known for diverse performances and initiatives like Violins of Hope Nashville, it premiered Hannibal Lokumbe's opera "The Jonah Project."
Giancarlo Guerrero, born in Nicaragua, is a six-time GRAMMY® winner and Music Director of the Nashville Symphony. Known for championing new music, he collaborates with top orchestras worldwide.
Bang on a Can All-Stars, formed in 1992, is a genre-defying ensemble known for dynamic performances blending classical, jazz, rock, and more. Collaborated with Steve Reich, Ornette Coleman, and others. Notable for recording Brian Eno’s *Music for Airports* and Terry Riley’s *In C.* Awarded Musical America’s Ensemble of the Year.
