Mikail Aslan

Born in Dersim, 1972, Mikail Aslan is known for his music blending traditional sounds with modern influences. After moving to Germany, he released his first solo album in his native language. He founded Mikail Aslan Ensemble with Michael Weil and Dieter Schmalzried, and has performed widely across Germany. Aslan also studied classical guitar at the Peter Cornelius Conservatory. His notable works include "Remayîsê Munzurî," performed with a symphony orchestra. Popular albums include "Agêrayis," "Miraz," and "Vengê Royî."
