Chicago-based ambidextrous guitar virtuoso Michael Angelo Batio is renowned for his lightning-fast techniques and innovations like the double guitar. Known from the bands Holland and Nitro, he began his solo career with the album No Boundaries in 1995. Frequently lauded as one of the greatest guitar shredders by Guitar World, Batio has released several instructional videos and collaborated with artists from Creed and Whitesnake. His label, M.A.C.E. Music, and solo work solidified his influence in heavy metal. Batio joined Nitro's reunion in 2016, featuring Lamb of God's Chris Adler.
