Vyshonn King Miller, better known by his stage name Silkk the Shocker, is an American gangsta rapper and actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. The brother of Master P and C-Murder, he rose to prominence in the late 1990s as a premier artist on No Limit Records. He debuted in 1996 with the album The Shocker, and achieved massive commercial success with his subsequent releases, Charge It 2 da Game (1998) and Made Man (1999), both of which received multi-platinum certifications from the RIAA, with Made Man debuting at number one on the Billboard 200. Known for his distinctive, rapid, and often offbeat delivery, he has collaborated with high-profile artists such as Destiny's Child, Mýa, and Mystikal, while also pursuing ventures in film and business.

McKinley Phipps, Jr., better known mononymously as Mac, is an American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana. He began his music career as a child under the stage name Lil Mac, releasing his debut album The Lyrical Midget at the age of 13. He later signed with Master P's No Limit Records, becoming one of the label's most critically acclaimed artists both as a solo rapper and as a member of the hip-hop supergroup 504 Boyz. His 1998 No Limit debut, Shell Shocked, became his most commercially successful solo album, peaking at number 11 on the Billboard 200. Following a 20-year prison sentence, he was released on parole in 2021 and returned to music with the release of his 2022 album, Son of the City.
