Marquess

Marquess is a German pop band formed in 2006 in Hannover, known primarily for performing Spanish-language songs. Originally a quartet consisting of singer Sascha Pierro, keyboardist Christian Fleps, guitarist Dominik Decker, and bassist Marco Heggen, the group became a trio after Heggen's departure in 2011. They achieved widespread European success with their 2006 debut single "El Temperamento" and their 2007 hit "Vayamos compañeros," the latter reaching the number one spot in multiple countries and driving their second album, Frenetica, to gold status. Their music blends Latin rhythms and pop melodies, characterized by danceable beats and catchy hooks.
