Marbs and Desert Hearts

Desert Hearts, an indie rock trio from Belfast, Ireland, debuted in 2000 with "No More Art." Known for a style blending noisy guitar bursts and melodious pop, akin to Television and Joy Division, they released "Let's Get Worse" in 2002, produced by Andy Miller.

Born in Southern California, Marbs, inspired by Pink Floyd and Tool, became a pivotal figure in electronic music. Co-founding the renowned Desert Hearts festival, he achieved milestones with chart-topping EPs like “Torus,” “Psilo,” and “Beyond the Wall” on his Desert Hearts Black label. Known for his magnetic personality and dedication, Marbs remains a key leader in the house and techno community.
