Australian singer and composer Lisa Gerrard is famed for her otherworldly vocals and work with Dead Can Dance. Known for her unique style blending folk, electronics, and orchestral elements, she has collaborated with Hans Zimmer on Gladiator, earning a Golden Globe. She's acclaimed for her film scores, including Balibo, winning an Aria award, and soundtracks like Whale Rider and Burning Man. Gerrard is skilled on the yangqin and has worked with Pieter Bourke, Klaus Schulze, and Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares. Her solo debut was The Mirror Pool, and she co-founded Gerrard Records in 2009.
