lighthearted is a dynamic indie-folk band from Athens, Georgia, fronted by identical twin sisters Gracie Huffman and Eliza Lemmon. Formed in 2019, the band draws from the deep wells of folk traditions and contemporary indie influences, featuring a sound characterized by lush arrangements, angelic vocal harmonies, and introspective songwriting. They released their debut album, "from here on out," in 2023 to critical acclaim, earning placements on prominent Spotify editorial playlists, and have since continued to expand their audience by touring across the United States.
