Houston's own Fat Tony, born in Third Ward, innovates underground hip-hop with storytelling & swagger. Known for honoring inspirations like Prince & Devin The Dude, he excels in indie-rap, impacting with sharp lyrics & distinct style.
Daniel Lopatin, known as Oneohtrix Point Never, is a composer and producer from the U.S. known for his expansive electronic sound. He scored films like "Uncut Gems," and directed music such as The Weeknd's Super Bowl show. Collaborating with artists like James Blake, FKA Twigs, and Iggy Pop, he also produced acclaimed tracks for MGMT and Nine Inch Nails. His achievements include winning the Best Soundtrack Award at Cannes.
