LineUp

Sophie Ellis-Bextor, a London-born pop artist, broke out in the 2000s with her disco- and '80s-synth-pop style, gaining fame with hits like "Murder on the Dancefloor" and "Groovejet." Formerly of Brit-pop band theaudience, she reached the U.K. charts' top spots with her solo albums. Known for her dance-pop sound, she has collaborated with producers like Greg Kurstin and Calvin Harris and worked with Ed Harcourt on folk-pop projects like Wanderlust. Her music remains popular, with "Murder on the Dancefloor" resurging thanks to its inclusion in films.
Liverpool-born Ian Broudie, known for The Lightning Seeds, crafted hits like Pure, The Life of Riley, and Three Lions. His style blends pop rock with introspective lyrics. Broudie's album See You in The Stars features collaborations with Terry Hall and James Skelly, showcasing his songwriting finesse. Known for his production skills, Broudie's work continues with tracks like Sunshine, embodying resilience and optimism.
Pulp, formed in Sheffield by Jarvis Cocker in 1978, rose from obscurity to become 1990s British icons, blending glam rock, disco, and indie. Known for hits like "Common People," they reached stardom with the album "Different Class." Cocker's sharp lyrics and collaborations, like with producer Scott Walker, characterized their dynamic style. They won multiple accolades and left a lasting impact on the British music scene.
The Kooks, known for their well-crafted pop, underwent a band “renovation,” returning to the energetic spirit of their debut. For their seventh album, "Never Know," they embraced experimentation and fun, recapturing their essence and swagger.
The Beths, from New Zealand, blend power-pop with skuzz in their third LP, "Expert In A Dying Field". Elizabeth Stokes crafts autobiographical, insight-rich songs on relationships and their aftermaths.
