Tony Vega, born in Salinas, Puerto Rico, is a salsa singer and evangelical pastor in the U.S. He played conga in his youth and was influenced by Ismael Rivera.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the U.S., Tito Nieves, a salsa luminary, started with Cimarron and Héctor Lavoe, went solo in 1986, and soared with "I Like It Like That" in 1997. Known for albums like Fabricando Fantasias and bilingual hits, Nieves consistently tops charts and collaborates with icons like Sergio George.
Yiyo Sarante, born in Baní, Dominican Republic, is a salsa singer known for his unique style. He started as a percussionist and later joined his brother's band, gaining fame for a modern take on Dominican salsa.
Conjunto Chaney, formed in 1980 in Puerto Rico by Nicolás Vivas, is known for hits like "Nicolasa" and "Aprende a Querer." Collaborated with Willie Gonzalez and Eddie Santiago. Their albums, including "¡Más Que Atrevido!" and "El Conjunto Del Amor," earned them a Gold Record and awards like ACE, Paoli, and Diplo. "Amor De Primavera" became Deportivo Cali's anthem.
