King's X

King's X, formed in 1985, is a revered hard rock band known for its mix of heavy metal, funk, and Beatlesque harmonies. Originating from the Missouri bar scene, members Doug Pinnick, Ty Tabor, and Jerry Gaskill gained fame with albums like "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska" and "Dogman." They toured with AC/DC and appeared at Woodstock '94. Despite challenges, the band's innovative sound influenced the progressive and alternative metal genres. They released their 13th album, "Three Sides of One," in 2022. Collaborations include acts like Anthrax and Living Colour.
