Karussell with Lift and Stern-Combo Meißen

Lift is a German rock band formed in Dresden in 1973. Originating from the dissolution of the Dresden Sextett, the group underwent several lineup changes in its early years, with vocalist and percussionist Werther Lohse, who joined in 1974, becoming its longest-standing member. Karussell, a German rock band from Leipzig formed in 1976, is a prominent group in East German rock history. Known for melodic rock and blues influences, they gained popularity with "Als ich fortging," "Wer die Rose ehrt," and "Ehrlich will ich bleiben." Their discography features albums like "Earth wind," "Unter den Sternen," and the "50 Jahre" compilation. They are celebrated for their enduring musical contributions.

Stern-Combo Meißen, formed in 1964 in Meißen, East Germany, is a pioneering German rock band. They evolved from beat music to progressive rock, pop rock, and art rock, known for their keyboard-driven sound and classical influences. Revered as one of East Germany's most accomplished progressive rock groups, their classic song "Der Kampf um den Südpol" remains popular. They released the EP "Die Himmelsscheibe von Nebra" in 2024.
