Jay Jurden is a comedian, writer, and actor from Mississippi, based in New York City. Known for his sharp, punchline-dense comedy rooted in his Black, Southern, and queer identity, he was a staff writer for "The Problem with Jon Stewart," earning WGA Award nominations. His album "Jay Jurden Y'all" hit #1 on iTunes, and his special "Yes Ma'am" streams on Hulu. Jurden was named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch. He has appeared on "The Tonight Show" and written for The New Yorker and Marvel.
