German progressive rock pioneers Jane formed in Hanover in 1970. Renowned for symphonic hard rock, powerful guitar solos, and captivating live shows, they sold over two million albums. Notable works include "Together," "Fire, Water, Earth & Air," and "Out in the Rain." Their enduring legacy includes collaborations and later albums like "Kuxan Suum."

Fargo, a German hard rock band from Hanover, formed in 1973, achieved cult status in the early 1980s. Known for their classic rock sound, they toured with acts like AC/DC. After a hiatus, they re-emerged, releasing acclaimed albums. Their discography includes "Wishing Well" and "Frontpage Lover." Original members Peter Knorn and Peter Ladwig continue to lead the group, celebrated for their energetic performances.
