Samba Toure

Samba Touré, a Malian singer and guitarist from Dabi, Tombouctou, is renowned for his distinctive blend of Niger Delta blues, traditional Songhai themes, and Western influences. He carries the legacy of his mentor Ali Farka Touré, with whom he toured. Known for hypnotic guitar grooves and moral lyrical messages, his albums include "Binga" and "Baarakelaw." He earned a Tamani d'Or for "Crocodile Blues" and "Best Artist" at the Songlines Music Awards for "Binga."
