LineUp

British new wave band ABC, led by Martin Fry, gained fame in the early '80s with hits like "Poison Arrow" and "Look of Love." Known for their synth-driven pop and theatrical style, they topped charts with their debut album and found success on MTV and in the US market.
Heaven 17, a UK techno-pop trio, formed by Martyn Ware and Ian Craig Marsh, emerged from the British Electric Foundation, featuring Glenn Gregory on vocals. Known for hits like "Temptation," they collaborated with artists such as Tina Turner. The band achieved fame with albums "Penthouse and Pavement" and "The Luxury Gap." After early success, they disbanded in 1988 but reformed in the '90s, continuing with Ware and Gregory.
Holly Johnson, born in Liverpool, rose to fame as frontman of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, known for hits like "Relax" and "The Power of Love." After a legal battle for artistic freedom, he launched a solo career with chart-topping "Blast." An openly gay artist, he detailed contracting HIV in his autobiography. Also a painter, he launched his label Pleasuredome and released several albums, including "Soulstream" and "Europa." Collaborated with Frankie Knuckles and Eric Kupper.
