Grave Digger, prominent German heavy metal band known for powerful live shows & albums like "Symbol of Eternity." Famous for blending sharp riffs, opulent choirs & Chris Boltendahl's distinctive voice.
San Francisco's Possessed, pioneers of death metal, are known for their brutal sound and Jeff Becerra's guttural vocals. Their influential albums, *Seven Churches* (1985) and *Beyond the Gates* (1986), set the genre's standards.
