Haindling, a Bavarian jazz-pop band led by Hans-Jürgen Buchner, blends jazz-pop with Bavarian volksmusik and exotic instruments. Founded in the '80s, they released successful albums like *Haindling 1* and worked on soundtracks for German films and TV shows, notably collaborating with director Franz Xaver Bogner. Known for their unique style, they signed with Polydor, then BMG, producing notable albums such as *Weiss* and *Perlen*. Long-standing members contributed to their distinct sound. Buchner was born in Brandenburg but became a musician in Bavaria.
