Grammy-winning jazz guitarist-vocalist George Benson, born in Pittsburgh, is known for soulful vocals and fluid guitar work. Collaborating with Robert Farnon in 1989, they created "Dreams Do Come True," featuring classics like "Autumn Leaves" and reimagined hits like the Beatles' "Yesterday." Benson's hit "This Masquerade" won Record of the Year in 1976. Rediscovered after 35 years, the album is set for release. Benson boasts 10 Grammy Awards and was named a 2009 Jazz Master.
Gregory Porter, born in Los Angeles and raised in Bakersfield, CA, is renowned for his warm baritone and jazz, soul, and gospel fusion. He's compared to Nat King Cole, Donny Hathaway, and Stevie Wonder. His 2010 debut, *Water*, earned a Grammy nomination, and his third album, *Liquid Spirit*, won the Best Jazz Vocal Album Grammy, becoming one of the most-streamed jazz albums ever. Known for originals and tributes like 2017's *Nat King Cole & Me*, he has collaborated with Kamau Kenyatta, Disclosure, and others. His 2020 album *All Rise* was Grammy-nominated, and his holiday album *Christmas Wish* followed in 2023.
California-born saxophonist Dave Koz has nine GRAMMY® nods, 12 No. 1 jazz albums, and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Known for his duets album Just Us with Bob James and world tours, he's also a humanitarian and radio host.
Born in Georgia, Wright's soulful alto and Southern roots shape her jazz-infused style. Known for "Salt," her 2003 debut topping charts, she continued with hits like "Lean In," featuring on Obama's playlist. Her work includes collaborations with Verve and Universal Music Group. In 2022, she founded Blues & Greens Records, releasing a live Berlin album.
